SOME MAJOR CHANGES ARE COMING

LOOKING LONG We should see a small warming trend for the East Coast next week. But the moderation will not be long-lasting. The Madden-Julian Oscillation is currently in Phases 2, 3, and is forecasted to begin an eastward shift into phase 6, 7. At the same time a stretching of the polar vortex will be associated with more ridging over Alaska and northern Canada, this is what helped produced our cold air we've seen in November. This next round looks impressive and should come at stormy times, These storms will likely be stronger and the temperature far colder and much longer lasting into December.
